FRAGMENTS is a small independent workshop: the person who makes a piece is the person who dyes and ships it. Orders are fulfilled directly, with nobody in between.

How an order works

If we have a shipping rate for your address, the order is paid by card on the site straight after you place it. The contract is formed when the payment succeeds. If another customer has paid for the piece by then, we will tell you and refund you in full.

If we have no rate for your address, placing the order is a request: we confirm the piece is available, work out the shipping and write to you, and payment is agreed in that exchange. In that case the contract is formed when we have confirmed the order and you have confirmed payment.

Payments are taken by Stripe (orders shipping outside Russia) and CloudPayments (orders within Russia). You enter your card details in their form; they never reach us.

Prices and currency

A piece is priced in its own currency; the switcher in the header shows it in another currency for convenience. Orders within Russia are paid in roubles. Others are paid in yen, dollars or euros, depending on the currency you chose, at rates the workshop maintains itself; the exact amount charged is shown before you pay.

Shipping is not included in the price of a piece. It is added to the order total before payment or, if we have no rate for your address, quoted separately.

Hand-dyed goods

Every piece is dyed by hand, so shade, pattern and the placement of marks vary between items and from the catalogue photographs. That is a property of the technique, not a defect.

Cancellation and returns

You may cancel an unpaid order at any time — just write to us. To cancel a paid order before it ships, write to us as well; we refund to the same card.

Returns and exchanges after delivery follow applicable consumer law. Pieces dyed to your individual specification cannot be returned if they are of satisfactory quality.
