indigo-dyed long sleeve t-shirt - state of the island

Dyed by hand with natural indigo, a pigment with antibacterial properties. The colour is built through repeated immersion in the dye bath, gathering in layers and developing on contact with air after each lift. The tone sits unevenly: deeper across open areas, lighter along folds and seams. Given the nature of the technique, shade and pattern may vary. Care: wash separately for the first few washes, gentle wash up to 30 °C, pH-neutral detergent, dry in the shade.
