Who processes your data
The operator is FRAGMENTS. Reach us at support@dyed-by-fragments.com.
What we collect
Only what you type into the order or dye-request form:
- name
- email address
- phone number
- country, city, postcode and delivery address
- your comment on the order, if you left one
- photographs of the garment — dye requests only
Why
To handle your order: confirm availability, quote shipping, agree payment and send the piece. We do not use any of it for marketing.
Where it is kept
Orders are stored in Notion (Notion Labs, Inc., USA), on their servers. Dye-request photographs are uploaded there too. Only the workshop has access.
Card payments are taken by Stripe (Stripe, Inc., USA) and CloudPayments (CloudPayments LLC, Russia). You enter your card details in their form and they process them; we never see or store them — all that reaches us is the amount, the status of the payment and its reference.
How long
For as long as the order needs it, and a reasonable period afterwards in case of a return, exchange or a question about the shipment. Then it is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent. Write to support@dyed-by-fragments.com and we will do it.
Newsletter
If you left your address in the subscribe form in the site footer, we keep that address, the date you subscribed and your chosen language — and nothing else — in a database separate from orders. We use it to write occasionally about new drops and the dye room. We never pass it on or sell it.
You can unsubscribe at any time, through the link in any e-mail or by writing to support@dyed-by-fragments.com. Order data never feeds the newsletter: to receive e-mails, the address has to be left in the subscribe form itself.
Cookies
There is no consent banner here because there is nothing to consent to: the site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and builds no profile of you for advertising.
The site sets two cookies of its own, both functional. The first remembers your chosen language, so the site opens in the one you last read it in. The second remembers which currency to show prices in: Cloudflare fills it in from the country of your IP address — Japan, Russia, everywhere else — and it holds nothing but a currency code such as "JPY". The address itself is not recorded anywhere, and your own pick in the currency switcher always overrides the automatic guess.
The contents of your cart, and a currency you chose by hand, are kept in your browser’s local storage and never reach the server.
Anonymous visit statistics are collected by Cloudflare Web Analytics: pages, referrers, country and loading speed. It sets no cookies, reads no browser storage and does not link your visits across different sites.
Separately from us, the Cloudflare infrastructure the site runs on may set cookies of its own to keep bots out, including for the check in the order form. That is a technical necessity, not analytics.
Address suggestions
When you type a postcode or start typing an address in the order form, the site sends what you typed and the chosen country to a lookup service so it can suggest the city and street: DaData (Russia), zipcloud (Japan), Geoapify and Zippopotam (other countries). The request goes through our server; your name, e-mail and phone are never sent. Fill the fields in by hand and no request is made.
